The Pulsar 30 is the perfect Sound Level Meter for most noise measurement applications but with the added ability of real time octave band filters. Real time frequency analysis has historically only been available in much higher cost instruments but the technology is now available to make these instruments at an affordable price.

We consider this instrument to be one of the first to use the technology in a sensible manner: to produce a powerful instrument that is easy to use, providing you with the results you need without having to spend hours learning to navigate the unnecessary functions.

The Pulsar 30 is available on its own (order code: Pulsar30) or as part of a complete measurement kit that includes an acoustic calibrator, windshield and a carrying case (order code: EMS230). The Type 2 version is indicated with a "-2" in the order code.

Software Support

The meter is provided with two versions of software: Analyzer and Capture Studio. The Analyzer software downloads the measurements, stores the results and provides what most people want in a simple format. For the more demanding user, the Capture Studio offers more powerful configuration and analysis, with the ability to export all data to Excel or similar for custom reporting.
